My Bearings series (Series 7) is a simplified mixed media format where I focused on one element from each of my previous series. Instead of a multitude of mechanical accoutrements I have a series of ball bearings executed in oils. Instead of my multi-colored and textured engine block shapes I have a single color with flat texture executed in acrylic and/or gouache.
