First Place Award at the Marin County Fine Art and Craft Competition
I recently won a First Place Award at the Marin County Fair for the painting Lascaux #2. The painting (below) incorporates a series of recent themes including stencil silhouettes and grid lines that enable me to create my own hieroglyphic.
This painting is part of a dual series of paintings where one set is mostly monochromatic while the other is very colorful. The juxtaposition is interesting with more to come.
